I’m all covered in bees! Beekeeping in Spain LightSpeed Spanish

In this action packed video we see Gordon accompanying Pedro el Colmenero de Valdenuño Fernández, in Spain on a trip to see the bee hives. Pedro is the master of beekeeping in Spain and supplies the local honey to all of the village and surrounding areas.

No smoking allowed!

As you will see, we went in there without the aid of the smoke that normally leaves the bees a bit sleepy and so we suffered the wrath of the classic Spanish bee in it’s full fury. We weren’t out to take any honey, only to look at them in their environment, however, they didn’t know that! As you will see, they came for me they would for any intruder, ‘en masa’.

Visiting the Spanish Osteopath Life changing LightSpeed Spanish

The Great Spanish Osteopath

(Osteopatía = ‘hostia p’a ti’)

In this short video, Gordon talks about his experience with his first visit to José, the Spanish osteopath who works in Coslada, Madrid.  José is not only an Osteopath but he’s a chiropractor too! So, let’s just say that Gordon’s visit was ‘crackingly’ good. Gordon had been told to see a Spanish osteopath because they were more gentle than a chiropractor…and that, dear readers, was a bunch of lies.  This was no Spa massage!

This experience was pain from the beginning to the middle, to the end. Well, in truth, the last ten seconds were quite pleasant when José was checking Gordon’s shoulders to se if they were sufficiently floppy, which they were.  But apart from that, tears were shed and at one point, as Gordon was crying out in pain, José said jokingly: -Sí, hijo, ¡canta, canta!
